Our galleries are still being filled in, but following are a few photos taken in our backyard butterfly garden in Carrollwood Village, Florida!

A Monarch enjoying a sip from the flowers of a scarlet milkweed.

You can actually see the wings of the Monarch butterfly about to emerge from this Monarch, hanging on one of our passion vines.

A yellow-colored sulphur caterpillar on our Christmas Cassia. The caterpillars are usually green and eat the plant's leaves, but become bright lemon-yellow when they eat the flowers.

This Black Swallowtail butterfly had just emerged from its chrysalis and was hanging out on a buddleia plant until its wings were ready for flying.
